Ideal work environment

The best part about my summer job is that once in a while I do work outdoors, mainly doing geodetic estimations. You know those guys who stand by roads, when there’s a road construction going on, with a machine on a tripod, seemingly taking pictures of stuff? That’s me. And we don’t take pictures, we measure heights. And not only of roads, but for any place where construction is going to be done. And last week the construction site where I was going happened to be Ängås Gård in Gothenburg. It is a garden with an old house where people who are on rehabilitation work with gardening tasks, run an organic café and sell plants. The garden is so beautiful with its old chest nut trees and wonderful plantations. Definitely worth a visit and easy to reach since it’s in the Gothenburgian suburb. So, basically all I did that day was walking around in the garden, measuring heights for making a new pedestrian walk way. Best work environment possible!
