My Japanese fisherman and my possible pumpkins

I’m starting to like my window more and more. My favourite ornament might just be the Japanese fisherman with a tiny bamboo fishing rod that my parents bought in Japan for my grand parents in the 70’s. He is very charming indeed.
As the big fan of gardening and Japanese food I am, I also planted some kabocha (Japanese pumpkin) seeds today. If they start growing they will move to my parents garden and hopefully bring me tasty pumpkins in autumn. Every spring I get like this, I feel the urge to plant seeds. A strange habit really.
